I’m really glad I’m not the only one who’s noticed that we are the people. We are a small population of a very large group of different races and genders, which means that we can do a lot of things that are very difficult for very small populations. There are some people who don’t understand the importance of our existence. Most people who aren’t born yet would say, “well, we’re not important.” And it would be true to a point, but we are. We are the ones who make sure that nothing bad happens to or in our world. We are the ones who have the power to take care of things that are not ours. With that power comes responsibility.

It could be argued that we are the ones who have created the problem in the first place. We decided we were going to make a big splash in the space industry in the ’90s, so when the earth came crashing down all we could think about was getting our hands on some of the new space tech that was coming to light. What we didn’t know was that by the time we got our hands on it, we would be responsible for creating the problem in the first place.
To make matters worse, the space industry wasnt all we were looking for. We needed a way to get our hands on new technology in order to fuel the space race. And when we came up with a better way to do that, we were caught. And once we realized what we had done, we were no longer interested.
Yes, I’m talking about the clipart we released in the aftermath of the shuttle launch mishap. These are the type of clipart that was made in the interest of public safety, but they were never intended to be a public good. But at least we didnt do anything bad to those people, right? Wrong. The clipart we released was used as a training device for other space companies. We made the mistake of not being careful about what we released.
