Was Jack Benny gay? This one’s not so easy to answer. I thought of the question in a non-traditional way. I thought of a way to explain who Jack Benny was and why people thought he was gay.
I don’t think any of us are very clear on who Jack Benny is and why he’s gay. Not enough people realize that he was a comedy writer and producer who was a top star in the 1920s. I think of him as a sort of “I’m just a funny guy” character. But like most comedians, he was also a womanizer, and women found him very attractive.
Like many gay men, Benny became a well-known performer in the early 1920s. Just before he won his first Academy Award for his comedic writing in 1930, he married his long-time partner, the actress and singer Florence Mills. Benny went on to become one of the top stars of the era.
In the 1930s, after his marriage ended, he got involved in a number of legal matters with the law. But I’m not sure he was gay, because he was engaged to another woman, and because in a lot of movies and even in a few TV shows, he is always portrayed as a man.
It was pretty clear in the trailers that Jack Benny was gay. In fact, the two main characters in the trailer, Billy West and Joe Buck, both have long hair and goatees. It’s really hard to imagine that Billy would be gay, especially since it’s not like Billy didn’t have a gay lover back in the day.
To put it bluntly, Billy is probably straight, but because it is a part of his past, it makes it more believable that he would be gay. It also makes it seem more believable that Joe Buck is straight, considering he is also the one who shot Benny. But I guess a lot of the questions about who Billy was involved with back in the day were probably just to make us feel better because we would have been upset if we didnt know.
I guess. It would be nice to find out more about Billy, but then you would still have to come up with a better explanation for why and when a guy like him would shoot someone because of his past.
Billy is the first member of the Jack Benny gang to have sex in the 1950s. I guess that’s why they called him “Jack Benny” because of that. Back then, “jack benny” was a guy who was pretty much a straight up guy, and “gay” was the word that came to mind when a guy wanted to be called “jack benny.
