I just started to read about composers and I like how they think about the human voice. It’s something they understand very well. The question is whether you’re going to listen to it or not (and probably not).
Composers have always been an interesting subject. I remember the composer for the first Star Wars movie, a woman named Carrie Fisher, not the Hollywood type like me, but the most famous composer of the series, she worked with John Williams on Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, and her voice was perfect for that movie—the kind you don’t want to hear in real life.
Well, I heard some of that voice in the trailers for the game, but I found it to be very off-putting. I’m sure it’s possible to work out a way to use it that doesn’t sound fake, but I just didn’t find it to be very enjoyable.
Navarasa is actually the name of her band. But for me, it’s just an odd name for a game. One that sounds like a cross between the old school RPG series and the Star Wars film franchise. It’s also completely unrelated to the composers of the game, as they are all part of Navarasa.

In Navarasa’s case, I can’t really tell because it is very hard to believe that the game is a documentary of her life. I have only played a few hours of the game, but the music isn’t really that bad. I would really like to hear some more of her music though.
